Tori- I have something in my nose.
Me- Yeah, it is a booger. Let me get a tissue.
Tori- It is not booger.
Me- Yes it is.
Tori- No! It is not! It is my snack!
Me- (I panic! Do I run to get the syringe!) What! Did you put something in your nose? Let me see!
Sure enough, there was a piece of cracker in her nose. Good thing it had already started to dissolve!

So Emma was almost three and she was upstairs with her sisters. She had one of those really pretty scrunchies with the beads on them and was playing with it. Alli noticed that she had started to pick the beads off and two were missing. She asked Emma where they were and sure enough she had stuck them up her nose!Both of her nostrils were swollen and I was afraid she wouldn't be able to breathe. We sat in the ER for 4 hours and when we finally saw a doctor he said they were too far down the nasal cavity for him to do anything about it. So the next morning we had to go to a ENT and he did all sorts of horrible things to my baby, but they had already passed on down. Poor Emma, I felt so bad for her, but nothing has ever gone near her nose ever again!
