A New Tradition

After Thanksgiving dinner, Alli and Tori made their first Gingerbread House. It was so hard for them to put all that candy on the house and not eat it! But I think they enjoyed seeing it become a house and will want to do it again. Next year, Katie will be old enough to help.

Oh, I always LOVE these - we go on Monday to the library to build them - but here they are "cracker shacks" with graham crackers...sounds kind of um...well, that name kind of ruins it, doesn't it? I love YOUR precious house where it is dripping in icing! :) SWEET pic. :)

How fun!! It takes some serious willpower not to eat that candy!

Sounds like a fun new tradition! I remember Will and I made one of those a long time ago. Once Drew gets a little older, we will have to do those again.

What a dream...wouldnt it be nice if we could walk/eat our way in the gingerbread house? Then when you get inside all the furniture is made of chocolate, toffee and gum drops? And then inside the white chocolate fridge is a gallon of milk so we could continue to eat the house and have something to wash it all down;)
